  • (1110 Wilshire Blvd.): This spa/ styling salon/ store has a mile-long list of services. They include: medicated bathing, brushing, ear cleaning, nail clipping, tooth brushing, fur dying and highlighting, massage therapy, reiki healing and anesthesia-free teeth cleaning. Even external anal glands expression (gasp) is provided. Healthy Spot also features a huge selection of organic, grain-free, holistic, raw and raw-alternative foods, as well as treats, beds, grooming supplies, leashes, collars, harnesses, apparel, travel accessories, supplements and pest products.
  • (1123 Montana Ave.): This isn't your average jeans-and-T-shirt place for Fluffy. This pet store is couture, and it features one-of-a-kind pieces including sweaters, water bowls, leashes and more. To Wag For—which also has a doggie day spa, and a line of organic food and snacks—is the closest thing you'll find to a Chanel Vintage shop for dogs.
  • (3110 Main St. #104): Owner Leigh Layne sells everything from designer collars to dog figurines at the boutique, which has been in business since 1980. She has a passion for hand-fluff drying too, and uses a selection of natural herbal shampoos and conditioners. For sale here are imported collars and leashes, designer doggie bowls, luxury pet beds, all-natural dog treats and dog toys.
  • (3013 Lincoln Blvd.): Next time you're going to Burke Williams, make sure your dog gets the spa treatment too. This family-owned place has self-service wash areas—but even though they're DIY, you don't need to clean up. Bark Williams also features premium raw foods, pet toys, healthy treats, collars and leashes.
  • (1844 14th St.): If your dog is patient enough to get groomed, surely it can pose for a portrait too. Yo Dawg Groom Spot offers both. Basic grooming services include soap-free shampooing, conditioning, nail trimming and tooth brushing. Hair-cutting and de-shedding services are also available here.
