LAX POLICE IMPOUND UBER DRIVERS CARS
A number of UberX drivers without a specific decal on their cars were cited this week by police at LAX and had their cars impounded.
According to a spokesperson for UberX, drivers were insured by a $1 million commercial insurance policy and received permits from the California Public Utilities Commission.
However, the spokesperson said that the permit required drivers to follow specific airport rules, which included a special decal on the car windshield or bumper.
