10 Freeway's Fifth Street Offramp Closed for Expo Work

By City News Service

An already-snarled construction zone in Santa Monica will get extra pressure for the next 10 days, as a freeway exit is blocked for Metro Expo Line construction.

The Fifth Street ramp off of the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway is barricaded off, putting extra traffic onto the adjacent Fourth Street and Lincoln Boulevard offramps.

The closure affects only traffic the freeway heading towards the McClure Tunnel and Pacific Coast Highway. Other ramps are not affected.
