MICHAEL’S MONTHLY “MARKET MEET-UP”

Michael McCarty and Chef Kuramoto lead an exclusive tour of Santa Monica Farmers’ Market to introduce guests to their favorite farmers, pay homage to ingredients of the season, and show how to pick the best ingredients. Guests will then head back to the restaurant and enjoy dishes specially created by Chef Kuramoto featuring the monthly ingredient, as well as wine pairings and recipes to take home.

July's Meet-Up will focus on Melon from Weiser Family Farms. A family-owned and operated farm since the late 1970s, Weiser Family Farms is a staple at the Wednesday Santa Monica Farmers' Market and is respected for utilizing sustainable farming techniques. Owner Alex Weiser has introduced and released small plantings of their popular melons, including a petite French variety similar to cantaloupe, to eager audiences.
