Where/When: 3221 Donald Douglas Loop South; 8-9:30 p.m. Mondays
Why go: Start your week off on the right note (pun totally intended) with these live jazz concerts featuring local musicians.

BIG BLUE BUS ROUTE CHANGES/TERMINATIONS
Where/When: , Ocean Park and Main Street; 7 p.m. Wednesday
Why go: Due to budget constraints, the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus No. 2 Route along Fourth Street in the Ocean Park area and Route 13 may be eliminated. Attend the Big Blue Bus public meeting for more information.

Where/When: Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board Room, 1651 16th St.; 10 a.m. to noon
Why go: Each of the four candidates in the June 5 primary will discuss public education, from the early years through high school graduation. Candidates will also address other topics of interest to voters, including children's and women's health issues.
