Former Mayor Speaks at Health Clinic Annual Holiday Open House

Richard Bloom praised the Westside Family Health Center for its work in the community.

Former Santa Monica Mayor Richard Bloom visited the Westside Family Health Center on Monday at its annual holiday open house.

Bloom, who was Santa Monica’s mayor until last year when he elected to the state assembly, praised the center’s accomplishments and its Covered California, the state’s health insurance exchange, enrollment efforts.

The annual open house is when the clinic opens its doors to let the community know the work and services that Westside Family Health Center, 1711 Ocean Park Blvd., provides.
