HGTV's Holiday House Comes to Santa Monica

The lifestyle network will also set up a showroom featuring its signature line of home and kitchen products.

Santa Monica Place will be transformed into a holiday wonderland by HGTV. The shopping center will host the lifestyle network’s Holiday House, a life-size gingerbread house that will serve as Santa’s workshop through New Year’s Day, starting on Saturday, Nov. 23.

“Santa Monica Place, with its open-air location just blocks from the beach, offers a modern, sophisticated shopping experience in an iconic Southern California location,” HGTV’s spokeswoman Denise Conroy stated in a news release. "We are excited to host a one-of-a kind entertainment attraction for thousands of holiday shoppers with the HGTV Holiday House and the HGTV HOME Pop-Up Showroom.”

Starting on Black Friday, Nov. 29, HGTV’s stars such as David Bromstad, John Gidding, Genevieve Gorder and more will make appearances at the Holiday House. In addition to the Holiday House, HGTV will also host a pop-up showroom with complimentary design consultation as well as displays of its signature HOME products. The 2,000-square-feet show room will be on the mall’s second level outside of Nordstrom.
