A tropical disturbance off the coast of Cabo San Lucas could bring warm weather, humid conditions and the possibility of thunderstorms to the area next week.

The tropical system could move north and into Southern California by Sunday, with the potential for thunderstorms in the Los Angeles County mountains by Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures in the Santa Monica Mountains are expected to reach into the mid-90s and as high as 100 degrees, forecasters warned.
