In Friday’s semifinals at the Santa Monica tournament, Loyola scored a decisive 98-63 win over Samohi.
The loss effectively knocks the Vikings (2-1) out of the tournament. Samohi will attempt to improve to 3-1 on the year in El Segundo when it faces Centennial in a non-league game Tuesday.
The Apaches come into the match with a record of 0-1 after their 64-60 loss to Oxnard on Friday.
