THE BEATLES AT BARNUM
Where/When: Barnum Hall, Santa Monica High School; 7:30 p.m. Friday
Why go: Celebrate the music of the Beatles with this event hosted by Beatles’ historian Martin Lewis. Full of classic songs, multi-media presentation, and sing-alongs, this fun event is sure to delight even the youngest of Beatles’ fans.

LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS CANDIDATE FORUM
Where/When: Martin Luther King Auditorium, Main Library; 7 p.m. Monday
Why go: The nonpartisan political organization invites the public to hear from the candidate running for four seats on the Santa Monica City Council Nov. 6. Candidates will share their views about the issues facing the city.
