The freeway will be closed between Santa Monica and National boulevards.
By City News Service
The southbound San Diego (405) Freeway will be closed tonight between Santa Monica and National boulevards as construction crews realign lanes and shift K-rail.
The stretch of freeway in West Los Angeles will be closed at midnight, and is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. Saturday, according to Metro, which is overseeing the 405 Freeway improvement project in the Sepulveda Pass.
Southbound freeway traffic will directed to exit at Santa Monica Boulevard and continue south on Sepulveda Boulevard, then back on the freeway at National.
