Plane Headed to SMO Makes Flyby At LAX

The Cessna, originally headed to Santa Monica Airport, reported a possible landing gear problem.

The pilot of a small Cessna aircraft made a flyby at Los Angeles International Airport after reporting a possible landing gear problem, around noon, ABC7 reports.

According to the station, its helicopter crew has also been asked to take a look at the plane, which appeared to have its gear down, but it was unclear if it was locked in place.

The plane had originally been heading for the Santa Monica Airport, the station reports.
