Producer to Buy Santa Monica Post Office?
David Ellison is reportedly in talks to purchase the building to expand his film and television production company.
Producer David Ellison is reportedly in negotiations to purchase the old downtown Santa Monica Post Office, reports Variety.
The post office was closed down in June this year and was the Santa Monica City Council approved a preservation covenant for the building last month.
According to Variety, Ellison’s company, Skydance Productions, wants the building to expand his film and television projects. The company currently operates out of an office on the Paramount lot.
