Santa Monica Democrats to Talk Traffic, Parking

When the local Democratic Club meets this week, traffic and parking concerns will be the main talking points.

Planning commissioners will join the city's planning director and a community activist Wednesday to discuss and debate traffic and parking at the Santa Monica Democratic Club's Wednesday meeting.

The club says the two topics are ranked highest in community concerns.

The "many facets" and the "complexities" will be discussed and debated by Planning Commission members Jennifer Kennedy and Richard McKinnon, along with former commissioner Jay Johnson, the city's planning director David Martin and neighborhood activist Mary Marlow.
