Santa Monica Makes Top 10 Piers List
The list, compiled by Coastal Living, rated the best piers in the country for fishing, sightseeing, and other salty pleasures.
Locals don’t need to be told that Santa Monica Pier is one of the city’s greatest attractions, but when it’s listed among the Top 10 in the country, well, that’s something to brag about.
Coastal Living magazine has just released its Top 10 piers list that include "fishing, sightseeing, and other salty pleasures," and Santa Monica made the cut.

The magazine noted that the Santa Monica Pier is “all about fun: an arcade, an amusement park, an aquarium, shops, restaurants, and a 1922-vintage carousel.”
