Sheriff Baca Passes Out Holiday Food Baskets at Santa Monica Airport

Throughout the year, the sheriff's department partners with the Viking Charities to identify families that are in need during the holidays.

More than 1,500 families will have a holiday meal with all the trimmings this holiday season thanks to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles Viking Charities Organization.

Sheriff Lee Baca and other members of the sheriff’s department assisted Viking members in passing food baskets, which includes a turkey and other assorted dinner items Sunday morning at Barker Hanger on the south side of Santa Monica Airport.

This year marks 32 years of collaboration between the sheriff’s department and Viking Charities.
