SMMOA Potluck Celebrates Upcoming Bergamot Expo Line Station

The 'Dig The Dig Dinner' celebrated the Expo Line's developing Bergamot Station with a community potluck and exhibit.

Artist Bettina Hubby curated the Santa Monica Museum of Art’s Dig The Dig Dinner and exhibit Sunday night. Hubby’s mission was to artistically engage the early stages of the new station's site. The 26th Street/Bergamot Station is one of six stations that will serve Culver City and Santa Monica as part of the Exposition Transit Corridor, according to the Metro website.

More than 250 people attended the event last night to experience the “beauty of transformation” with visuals of the future site and a potluck dinner reflective of the community’s diversity, according to a press release.
