'A WALK ON RAYMOND CHANDLER'S WESTSIDE' 

Where/When: , 415 Palisades Beach Rd.; 6:30 p.m. Monday 

Why Go: Inspired by Santa Monica Citywide Reads 2012 Judith Freeman, author of The Long Embrace: Raymond Chandler and the Woman He Loved leads a virtual tour of many of the places on the Westside that Chandler used in his fiction, as well as the neighborhoods where he once lived with his wife Cissy.

Why Go: Locally-crafted beer, William Hill wine, chef tastings and complimentary valet parking are included at this new monthly concert series featuring nostalgic sounds of “Woodstock Mud.”
