Patricia Schultz—author of the No. 1 New York Times best-selling travel guide, 1,000 Places to See Before You Die—will appear for a Q&A and book signing this month at the Santa Monica public library.
During the Jan. 10 free event, Schultz will also present her favorite travel destinations.
Since its release in 2003, the 1,000 Places book has sold 3 million copies, inspiring armchair travelers and experienced globetrotters alike. It was also the basis for a Travel Channel series.
Schultz's program is at 7 p.m. in the main library’s MLK, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
