Amazon Studios Moves to Santa Monica
The move puts the studios next some some industry giants.
Amazon Studios, giant online retailer’s the film and television producing arm, is moving to Santa Monica’s Water Garden from its Sherman Oaks home, according The Hollywood Reporter.
Citing unnamed sources, the entertainment industry publication is reporting that Amazon Studios has closed escrows on the property. The move puts the online retailer’s entertainment unit in the same building alongside CBS Television Distribution, Sony and Beat Electronics.
