Casa del Mar Debuts Live Music at Sunday Brunch
KCRW DJ Raul Campos secures a Sunday residency in the hotel's lobby.
The Casa Lobby Lounge is serving up a side of live music at its Sunday brunches this spring.
DJ Raul Campos, who hosts "deep rhythms and urban soul with a Latin twist" on his KCRW radio program, is spinning from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sundays at the lobby of Casa del Mar, one of Santa Monica's ocean front hotels.
The live music, from a variety of bands, continues throughout the week with evening performances on weekdays and morning acts every Saturday.

The hotel is also pitching a new menu and drink specials with "preferred pricing," but don't expect happy hour discounts. Mondays, for example, feature craft beers for $5-10 and Thursdays are for "top shelf" tequila ($13-18). The music, however, is free.
