Festival in Santa Monica this weekend will feature a myriad of sweet confections, along with local and celebrity chefs. Proceeds to benefit a nonprofit that awards scholarships to at-risk high school students.
Satisfy your sweet tooth Saturday at a dessert festival in Santa Monica.
The 2 p.m. event, called "Getting Our Just Desserts," will feature a myriad of tastings from celebrity pastry chefs, confectioners, bakeries, coffee and tea purveyors. Culinary classes, book signings and a cooking challenge are also on tap.
Local businesses The Charleston, Röckenwagner Bakery and Sweet Crush Ice Bar are listed among tasting demonstrators and vendors.

Proceeds will benefit Careers through Culinary Arts Program Los Angeles, a nonprofit that provides culinary career opportunities and scholarships to at-risk high school students.
