Danny Boyle, who won an Oscar for directing Slumdog Millionaire, will join the American Cinematheque in conversation next month at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica.
Also known for his work on 28 Days Later and 127 hours, Boyle was more recently in the director's chair for the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Summer Olympics.
The English directors' appearance March 14th at the Santa Monica theater comes one month before his latest crime thriller, Trance, is scheduled to open in the U.S.
The hour-long talk at the Aero starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $11 and can be purchased online.
The Aero is at 1328 Montana Ave.
