Big Sunday Family Health & Safety Day

For children there will be a fire truck and other safety vehicles to explore, arts and crafts, a healthful cooking project, a gardening project, and music by Rodney Lee of Groove Kid Nation. Children will receive goodie bags, as well an ID kit supplied by Kids Are 1st.

For parents there will be seminars featuring Rachel Myers from Green Hugs, Kim Gerber from Out of the Box, and Cari Butler from Emergency Cafe, among others.

Certified car seat checks are available upon presale purchase of tickets and by appointment. Healthful foods will be available for purchase during the event. All proceeds of the event directly benefit the YWCA Family Cooperative Preschool, opening Fall 2011.
