Can We Talk? Movies That Matter!

Beth Shir Shalom Synagogue will present a special evening, "Can We Talk...to a Temple Member?" which will be highlighted by a showing of the recent hit movie, "Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work."

The event will be hosted by comedienne, actress, and Temple member Wendy Hammers, who has appeared in films and on stage, as well as on television programs that include "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Oprah" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."

The film, an insightful and entertaining documentary covering a 14-month period in Rivers’ life, was hailed by the “New York Times” as "a convulsively funny movie."
