Twilight Concert Series: Donavon Frankenreiter and Jeff Young's Song & Dance Society

Free summer concerts at the  will enter their 28th year with the July 5th launch of the Twilight Concert Series. 

To kick off the series: the beach-ready songs of surfer/troubadour Donavon Frankenreiter and the energetic soul of Jeff Young's Song & Dance Society.

The Santa Monica Pier will host 10 free concerts featuring a mix of emerging and established music from all over the world every Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Sept. 6.

Co-produced by Los Angeles-based Rum & Humble and emceed by DJs from KCRW, the Twilight Concert Series will span diverse genres from breakout bands, established acts, singers and songwriters and local artists, including African rock, Indie Rock, Cuban, Jamaican reggae, contemporary salsa, New Orleans brass, folk and Louisiana funk.
