Why Go: Kids 2 and up will love this musical, in which the audience is encouraged to participate by singing along and dancing onstage!
Pricing: $10.50 for children 12 and under; $12.50 for adults
2. SHARK SUNDAYS
Where/When: , Sunday, at 3:30 p.m.
Why Go: Why is this event special, besides the fact that sharks are considered cool by all kids? How about the shark-themed film, the little-known facts revealed by a naturalist as real-life sharks swim and splash close to you or the underwater-related craft you get to take home? You and the kids can also watch the sharks eat their Sunday meal and occasionally get splashed as they squirt water in anticipation of their upcoming meal.
Pricing: 12 and under are free; all others, a suggested $5.00 donation.
3. TODDLER PLAYDATE
Where/When: Paint: Lab, Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
Why Go: Unleash your little one’s inner Picasso at this art studio, where this morning time is strictly reserved for the 3-and-under set. Toddlers will delight in discovering colors and brushes—don’t forget your painting clothes!
Pricing: $15 per child, includes all art supplies and paper
4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. SEUSS
Where/When: Zimmer Children’s Museum, Feb. 27 at 2:30 p.m.
Why Go: Celebrate the 106th birthday of the beloved Dr. Seuss by making a fun, striped Cat in the Hat party cap. Then go explore this gem of a museum, which has a real airplane and ambulance!
Pricing: 2 and under free (as are grandparents) ; $5 for ages 3 and up; $8 for adults
