Why Go: Let’s see … bouncy houses, face painting, dino cookies to decorate, live reptiles, music, delicious food, volcanoes that explode, raffles ... what doesn’t this fun fair offer? Plus, all proceeds go to The Growing Place Scholarship Fund.

•  BABY LOVES DISCO

Where/When: Dim Mak Studio; Tuesday from 12 to 3:00 p.m.

Why Go: Put on your boogie shoes and go to a dance club with your kids? Yep, Baby Loves Disco is created for parents and kids aged 6 months to 7 years old. There are bubbles, cool lighting, snacks, goody bags—even an area filled with pillows and board books for those who just feel like chilling and taking in the scene (or haven’t yet mastered walking). Take advantage of the dance floor, though, because this might be one of the few times your child will dance with you in public (willingly).

Pricing: Non-walkers, free; $20 for single admission; $60 for four admissions

PRIL JOLLIES

Where/When: ; Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Why Go: Celebrate spring with silly stories and fun puppet shows for the 3-7 year-olds in your life! Prepare yourself for lots of lively fun and giggles!

• VOCAL VARIATIONS

Where/When: Santa Monica Pier; Apr. 10 at 2:30 p.m.

Why Go: Whether you’re a secret Glee fan or someone who loudly and proudly sings along to each cast recording, you’ll love seeing a real life group of young singers and dancers perform right by the lovely Maria Sol Restaurant. Just try not to clap and sing along!

• MISS NELSON IS BACK

Where/When: Morgan-Wixon Theatre; Saturday and Sunday, through Apr. 10, 11 a.m.

Why Go: This is the beloved book by Harry G. Allard and James Marshall, which detailing the delightful Miss Nelson’s return after the mysterious and cranky substitute Viola Swamp is brought to life! You’ll want to run right out to buy the whole series (that is, if you don’t already own it)!

Pricing: $6, 12 and under; $8, 13 and up
