We've got the lowdown on where to go for Halloween fun.

Thank you, busy parents, for stopping by the newest edition of the Grab & Go Kids Planner. As usual, we at Patch have carefully filled it to the brim with the top family-friendly activities to keep you and yours happily entertained (or at least off the couch).

Family Best Bets of the Week

Where/When: ; Friday, 3 to 9 p.m.

Why Go: Get in the Halloween spirit early with this party filled with fun for all ages and all scare levels. There will be face-painting, games, crafts, balloons, food, a costume parade and, of course, a haunted house.

Pricing: $5 for kids; $10 for adults

HALLOWEEN HULLABOO

Where/When: ; Oct. 29 to 30, 12:30 p.m.

Why Go: Explore Halloween through the ages with this lively, interactive musical that also includes face-painting and treats.

Pricing: $10.50, 12 and under; $12.50, 13 and up

GREAT GREEN PLAYDATE

Where/When: ; Oct. 30, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: Support Healthy Child, Healthy World with this event, where 100 percent of the proceeds go to this charity. There will be green giveaways, trick-or-treating and live music from kid favorite Papa Is a Rolling Stone!

Pricing: $25 per child (call [310] 988-1981 to register)

HALLOWEEN HOP

Where/When: Montana Avenue; Oct. 31, 3 to 6 p.m.

Why Go: The third-annual Halloween Hop is here, which means the chic stores lining the avenue will be handing out candy, temporary tattoos, coupons, prizes for costumes and even fortunes.
