$30 Million Lease Keeps IMAX in Santa Monica

The theater company renews its lease for 10 years at 3003 Exposition Blvd.

IMAX Corp. has renewed its lease at Santa Monica's Lantana Entertainment and Media Campus, and will stay there for another 10 years, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The deal was valued at an estimated $30 million, THR reported Tuesday.

The campus—whose other tenants include Dick Clark Productions, Revolution Studios and BermanBraun—is on Exposition Boulevard between Stewart Street and Bundy Drive and serves as the theater company's West Coast headquarters. IMAX has rented there since 2000, according to THR.

IMAX's Santa Monica offices house about 200 employees who work on distribution and postproduction jobs there. The facility includes a 25-seat screening room that IMAX uses to show movie footage to filmmakers and production companies with whom the firm works.
