Arclight Cinema Coming to Santa Monica
The 14-screen theater is slated to open at Santa Monica Place in late spring 2015.
ArcLight Cinemas will open a new location at Santa Monica Place in late spring 2015.
Arclight stated in a release that it has an agreement with Macerich Shopping Centers to open 14-screen theater on the third floor of Santa Monica Place, just above Bloomingdale’s.
The cinema will include a full bar, café and concessions. Wine, beer and cocktails will be available in the designated 21+ lounge and during select screenings.

“We created ArcLight so that movie lovers could experience film the way the filmmakers intended,” Arclight’s Chief Executive Officer Chris Forman said in a statement. “Santa Monica Place is an important shopping and lifestyle destination. It means a lot to our company, and to me, to partner with Macerich to bring the ArcLight experience to Santa Monica.”
