Encore Chef to Open New Bar at Closed Angel's

Now closed, Angel's Piano Bar will be renovated and transformed by the head chef at Wazuzu, Encore Las Vegas' restaurant.

Jet Tila, the chef behind Wazuzu at Encore Las Vegas, will turn the just-shuttered into a dinner and drinks spot, Eater.com reported Wednesday.

Tila told Eater's Susan Stapleton that he plans to renovate the space at 2460 Wilshire Blvd., and will name his new bar The Charleston.

It "will be a laboratory for me to play where I come up with some crazy ideas. I don’t want to call it a gastropub. It’s a fun place to have a bunch of food and drinks,” he said.
