Elijah Wood Selling Santa Monica Home

The "Lord of the Rings" actor's house is up for $1.85 million.

A Santa Monica house currently owned by Elijah Wood and previously owned by another high-profile actor, Dylan McDermott, is up for sale, according to AOL Real Estate. The asking price is $1.85 million.

Wood is the star of Wilfred, FX's new comedy series. Also, he's set to return to the big screen for subsequent installments of the Lord of the Rings series.

Wood's Spanish-style home was built in 1924. It features a round foyer with a cast-iron tile floor that was derived from a brewery in Britain. Additionally, the property features a guest house and office.

The total square footage of Wood's home is 2,130.

Despite the current structure, there is "an opportunity to remodel ... or build a new home" at the location, according to the MLS listing.
