Cocktails for Cancer

The Concern Foundation for Cancer Research (www.concernfoundation.org), an official charity of the LA Marathon for the second year in a row, has found a partner and delicious way to help raise funds for Concern’s Marathon team.

La Cachette’s chef/owner Jean Francois Meteigner and his mixologist have created a special cocktail, “26 Miles of Concern” made with Vodka, fresh Rhubarb Puree and Organic Jasmine Liquor, served in a Martini glass. The cocktail will sell for $20 with all proceeds going to Concern.  That night La Cachette Bistro will be handing out French Tapas Hors d’Oeuvres throughout the night. The drink will stay on the menu through the Marathon which is March 20 and will sell for $15, proceeds still going to Team Concern.

La Cachette Bistro opens for Happy Hour at 5:30 and the drink will be served from 6 – 10pm.  Of course those who wish to linger and dine are welcome.  To find out more about Concern’s Team Marathon please visit the website at www.concernfoundation.org or call 310.360.6100.

La Cachette Bistro, which opened in 2009 after years of being situated in Century as La Cachette, is the brainchild of Chef Jean Francois Meteigner, who recently came up with the concept of a French Tapas menu.  The restaurant is located at 1733 Ocean Avenue, across the street from the Loews Hotel.  To find out more about the restaurant please visit www.lacachettebistro.com or call 310.434.9509.
