Frozen Yogurt: Where to Find the Coolest Deals

Craving for a fix, despite the winter weather? Chill out—we've got you covered.

Let's face it: Random strikes of the sweet tooth are inevitable. A couple of months ago, I singled out five places in Santa Monica that offer delicious desserts, and my list included , which has sweet deals on frozen yogurt. But after doing some more cruising, I found a bunch more shops where you can satisfy your frozen-yogurt fix.

This just might be the chain of chains for frozen yogurt. Many, many flavors and toppings are available here, all of them for an affordable price. From seasonal Blood Orange to the tangy original flavor, buy by size and don't worry about the weight of it on your purse. My personal favorite is the original with strawberries.

While gelato is their specialty—flavors range from Classic Vanilla to Cookies and Cream—fruity sorbets and frozen yogurts are also available. There are hundreds of flavors to choose from, but be forewarned: The portions are tiny, and it's cash-only.

Located at , mall shoppers can stop by and expect variety, good prices and a pay-per-ounce scale. Go the healthy route with tart, nonfat or low-fat choices; or take a sugary splurge with the creamier yogurts—the choice is yours.

With a constantly updated menu, a yummy drink called Strawberries Alive is one of many new yogurt blends available here. Mixed with nonfat yogurt and whole fruit, it tastes like you're drinking ... well, yogurt. Other flavors include Vibrant Blueberry and Thrivin' Mango. The calorie count is only 250 for a 16 oz. serving.

New flavors appear constantly here, with about a dozen flavors rotating in and out. But a few remain constant, including Chocolate, Red Velvet Cupcake and Tart. Toppings include M&Ms, marshmallows and fruit.
