Nekter Juice Bar to Open Dec. 5
Orange County-based juicery expands into Los Angeles with a new store on Second Street in Santa Monica. Bonus points: free delivery.
Husband and wife team Steve and Alexis Schulze are bringing their Orange County-based juicery to downtown Santa Monica.
Nekter—which offers free delivery within a five-mile radius—will open Dec. 5 at 1422 Second St., near Santa Monica Blvd.
Founded in 2010, the juice bar's menu includes green blends, such as "The Cure," a blend of beet, broccoli, kale, parsley, celery, grapes and apple, and "The Buzz," made with carrot, orange, lemon and fresh ginger. There's also raw nut milk smoothies and specialty drinks.

"Juicing has become extremely popular in recent years, and Santa Monica has the demographic and appeal we’re looking for," said Steve Shultze.
