The Pooch Hotel—a "five star" boarding facility, daycare and spa featuring flatscreen TVs, fitness center and poolside "cabanas"—opens at Barrington and Exposition in West L.A.
The newest in a growing chain of luxury "hotels" for dogs is open in West L.A.
At the Pooch Hotel at 2250 South Barrington Ave., there's poolside "cabanas," a fitness center, a spa for pedicures and facials and manicured grass enclosed by white picket fences.
Looking to board your pup over the holidays? A "palace suite" that boasts flatscreen TVs and 6-foot tall fire hydrants is $125 per day. Room with fewer amenities start at $60.

The "five-star" Pooch Hotel has locations in Hollywood and San Diego. The chain opened in 2004 in Chicago.
