Santa Monica Eye Medical Group Doctor Wins Patients' Choice Award
Only 5 percent of the nations' doctors qualify to this honor.
A Santa Monica doctor has been honored with the 2013 Patients' Choice Award by Vitals, a healthcare web portal that provides information on doctors.
Dr. Sadiqa Stelzner from Santa Monica Eye Medical Group is among the few selected for this honor. Only 5 percent of of the nation’s active physicians and dentists receive top scores from their patients on Vitals, qualifying them for this honor.
Millions of patients go online each year to rate their doctors on various components of care, including accuracy of their diagnosis, the amount of time they spent with the doctor, and the doctor's bedside manner and follow-up care. Patients' Choice reviews these rankings and other quality measures to compile its yearly list of award winners.
