Spectrum's 20th Anniversary Bash: See Pics

The in Santa Monica isn't making any secret of its 20th birthday. On Thursday night, the club hosted a big party, welcoming Santa Monica Mayor and treating attendees to a tour of its newly unveiled, $250,000 remodeling.

The four-hour gala was open to both members of the club and residents of the Santa Monica community in general. Staff members and trainers talked with attendees while they sipped complimentary beverages and took in live entertainment. Bloom gave a proclamation recognizing the club's two-decade tenure in Santa Monica.

The renovations include a refurbished air conditioning system, a dedicated TRX area and re-carpeting in the Spectrum locker rooms. There's also a new line of Life Fitness workout equipment that features 11 recumbent bikes, six treadmills and nine upright cycles.
