Main Street Tree Lighting Is This Weekend

The Christmas festivities begin Saturday evening at the California Heritage Museum. Sidewalk sales are weekend-long.

The Main Street community will celebrate Christmas this weekend with its annual sidewalk sales and tree lighting at the California Heritage Museum.

Santa Claus will arrive at the museum lawn, just south of Ocean Park Boulevard, at 5 p.m. to pose for pictures with children aboard a Santa Monica fire truck. The tree lighting, at the same location, will feature music by the Santa Monica High School Choir and Green Brooms Music Academy at 6 p.m.

After, Santa will lead revelers on a candlelight walk to the shopping cart tree at Edgemar, where Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers will perform.
