Viewfinder: Gas Prices Soaring in Santa Monica
See how high prices are getting in SM, and find out which stations were charging the least on Tuesday afternoon.
While many other parts of the United States are bracing for $4 per-gallon unleaded gasoline, prices in Santa Monica have already soared far above that price. On Tuesday afternoon, the 76 station at Wilshire and 26th (pictured) was charging almost a full dollar more than the national average of $3.81.
