Viewfinder: Snow in Santa Monica
Doc's Ski Haus is hosting "Snowasis by the Sea," a winter-themed party featuring a snowball fight, a winter fashion show and a ski/snowboard simulator.
Snow has arrived in Santa Monica—well, sort of.
Starting at 11 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m., is hosting "Snowasis by the Sea," a winter-themed party thrown by Park City Mountain Resort and Ski Magazine.
A snowball fight, a winter fashion show, sweets, a ski/snowboard simulator, face-paintings, music, a photo booth, snow cones and prize giveaways are happening at the free event. There's also an array of new gear and clothing for the season, as well as boot-fittings.

Attendees have a chance to win a three-night, four-day ski trip that also includes slope-side lodging.
