Zagat Ranks Milo & Olive Among Best New Eateries

The Santa Monica "hot spot" makes a Zagat list of L.A.'s top five new restaurants.

"Near perfect" wood-fired gourmet pizzas and "fabulous" breads and sweets have earned Santa Monica restaurant gurus Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan's Milo & Olive a place on Zagat's list of the five best new restaurants in Los Angeles.

The casual neighborhood hangout is one of L.A.'s hot spots, the restaurant reviewers said, noting there are long waits and cramped communal tables.

"Fans 'only wish is that it were twice the size'–luckily it’s 'great for takeout,'" Zagat wrote.
