Santa Monica Minimum Wage

For most of California, minimum wage increases to $9.00 per hour on July 1, 2014. If your employees are working on a contract for the City of Santa Monica, there is a Special Living Wage Ordinance that requires you to pay your employees $13.82 an hour if the contract exceeds $54,200.
