Blog: Get the Scoop on the City's Summer Camps

Youth Summer Camps Fair offered by the City of Santa Monica will be held on Saturday, April 13, and Saturday, April 20, to assist families planning summer break activities.

Spring Break is over and now its time to start thinking about Summer Vacation, which begins on June 12 for SMMUSD students. Are you wondering what to do with the kids? A suggestion -  a day camp offered through the City of Santa Monica. You can learn more about what the City has to offer and meet the instructions at a Youth Summer Camps Fair to be held on Saturday, April 13  from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Memorial Park Gym, 1401 Olympic Blvd (Parking entrance on 14th St), and also on Saturday, April 20, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Virginia Avenue Park, 2200 Virginia Avenue.

The event will feature all that the City has to offer for youth this summer, including Santa Monica Sports Experience, Camp Santa Monica, Rosie’s Girls, Police Activities League, and Virginia Avenue Park. Information on the wide range of programs offered through the City’s Communities Classes & Camps Office by highly-qualified, local instructors will also be available. All parents and caregivers looking to plan ahead for their child’s most successful summer break yet are encouraged to attend either fair. There are camps for just about everything kids enjoy - from beach sports to theater, dance, art, soccer and general sports & games.

Attendance and parking for both sessions are free. Advance registration is not required.
