A Cocktail Cure for 'Ramp Jam' Headaches

Locanda del Lago will mix raspberry Mojitos during the impending Wilshire Boulevard ramp closures at the 405 Freeway.

Sloaging through traffic trying to leave the Westside is enough to drive any one drink.

To ease the pain, Italian restaurant is introducing a new "carpool cocktail" in time for the scheduled 90-day ramp closures of the 405 Freeway at Wilshire Boulevard.

The cocktail will be the menu daily June 22 until the completion of the construction project, which has been dubbed "rampture" and "ramp jam."
