Today's Happenings

• Want to follow the royal wedding hoopla outside the confines of your house or apartment? Stroll over to , where a celebratory breakfast begins at 9 a.m. and includes a free glass of champagne. A Royal Afternoon Tea will be served from noon to 2 p.m. in the Crown Room, and at 8 p.m., a Beatles tribute band will play in the main bar.
• k.d. lang is in town today, recording an über-private music session for KCRW. The intimate performance will happen at famed producer Bob Clearmountain's private Apogee Berkeley St. studio.
• Today is the last day to enjoy Locanda del Lago's prix-fixe Easter menu, which features holiday specialties from Italy’s Lake Country. The prices are: three courses for $55 per person, four courses for $69 per person, à la carte dishes for $10 to $32, and optional wine pairings for $24 (plus tax and gratuity).
