Aquarium Hosts 'Whale of a Weekend': Check Out Photos

The two-day event, which celebrates the large mammal, continues Sunday.

This weekend, the  is celebrating the annual migration of the Pacific gray whale with its "" program, as we previously mentioned in our weekend planner.

A slew of creative activities are being held, including the drawing of a life-size whale on a chalk board and a presentation on how changing ocean temperatures affect the large mammal. Whale-related story time, face-paintings and film screenings are also on the bill.

The two-day program started Saturday and continues Sunday from 12:30 to 5 p.m. (A $5 donation is suggested.)
