Daytime Highs to Fall Drastically
After a hot weekend, temperatures will dip into the 70s Monday and then into the 50s Tuesday as a storm moves into the Southland.
Hot enough for you? It was 85 degrees Sunday in Santa Monica and the westbound 10 Freeway was a parking lot headed to the beach all afternoon.
Cooler weather is on tap for tomorrow and another cycle of high winds appears to be headed towards Southern California on Tuesday.
"A cold low pressure system developing in the Gulf of Alaska is expected to track southeastward over the next couple of days," said National Weather Service forecasters. The system "will likely bring drastic changes to Southland weather."

Temperatures will drop by more than 10 degrees Monday in Santa Monica, where a daytime high of 70 degrees is expected. The high will fall rapidly again Tuesday to 57 degrees.
High wind watches have been posted for the mountains and canyons starting midday Tuesday. There is no rain on the horizon.
