• Rising singer-songwriter Missy Higgins leads tonight's Australian invasion at the as part of the ongoing . Kim Churchill and Andy Clockwise will also perform at the show, which will last from 7 to 10 p.m.

• George Carlin's only child, daughter Kelly Carlin, will reflect on 40 years with her dad for A Carlin Home Companion: Life, Love and Laughter With George, a storytelling performance happening at the . The one-night-only show starts at 8 p.m. and costs $20, with all proceeds benefiting the Save the Playhouse Campaign.

Other Happenings

• Art, music, food and fun are on the bill for the second-annual Montana Avenue Artwalk, which takes place tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. From Seventh to 17th Streets, stores will feature works from 50-plus visual artists, serve drinks and dining specials, and welcome performances by live musicians. 
• In conjunction with the Artwalk, the  will host a Steve Martin double-feature, of The Jerk and Little Shop of Horrors. The screenings start at 7:30 p.m.; admission is $11, with discounts available.
  
• The Neil Patrick Harris-directed theatrical performance The Expert at the Card Table continues tonight at the .
